My name is Derek Usher and I am a photographer based in Edenderry, County Offaly.

I have a passion for photography specialising in local and national landscapes.

I am also fascinated by people and enjoy the thrill of street photography and street portrait photography.

My biggest satisfaction with my photography  is when people engage emotionally with one of my images.

I work hard to try and have my photographs tell a story or to have them encourage the viewer to question, reminisce or express an opinion.

On a professional basis I work as an educator and love to pass my knowledge, experience and passion onto others.

On a photography basis I never stop learning and never want to stop learning.
